Ohio CASA/GAL Association Updates + Giving Tuesday

Every year, CASA volunteers across Ohio serve thousands of children experiencing abuse and neglect. Many of these children are in foster care. Last month, CASA programs served over 5,500 children in need.

A volunteer provides a consistent presence in a child's life, while advocating for the child's best interest in court.

Since 2012, Giving Tuesday has been an internationally recognized day when people give back to their communities and support different causes.

On this Giving Tuesday, please consider supporting these volunteers and Ohio CASA's efforts by clicking on the button below:

From Ohio CASA Executive Director Doug Stephens:

To all of our Ohio CASA volunteers, supporters and community partners,

It has been a busy and rewarding year for the Ohio CASA/GAL staff. I am proud of and thankful for many things this year. Our team put on our largest ever Celebrate Kids! Conference in Columbus this September. We launched new CASA programs in Ohio and expanded a pilot program we run that serves children impacted by domestic violence.

Most of all, I am thankful for the support of the community and encouraged by the tireless work of CASA volunteers across Ohio who served thousands of children in need in 2023. Your support and attention helps us to continue this mission and support programs.

With Gratitude,

Doug Stephens

Words of Thanks from the Ohio CASA Team
