Ohio CASA/GAL Association Updates

Hello Ohio CASA Network and supporters,

In the Spring edition of our quarterly Ohio CASA newsletter, we are excited to share some exciting updates about CASA in Ohio.

As a CASA supporter told the crowd inside the Statehouse Rotunda during "CASA Day in Ohio": CASA programs are critical to the administration of justice in Ohio. We see that work daily on behalf of children experiencing abuse and neglect. Thousands of dedicated CASA volunteers and staff members step up. We want to recognize them for those efforts.

After a successful CASA Day in Ohio event, the Ohio CASA Network is focusing on some major milestones ahead. May is National Foster Care month, a time we work to raise awareness and show support for youth in foster care, as well as for the foster parents, CASA volunteers and other advocates who work to make a positive impact. Other important upcoming events include training sessions and our 29th Annual Celebrate Kids! Conference in Downtown Columbus. Registration for the September 25 - 27 Conference will open in July. You can find even more information about our work throughout this newsletter.

With appreciation,

Doug Stephens  |  Ohio CASA Executive Director
